BRAND AMBASSADOR
Island Company Rum is looking for ambitious escapists and go-getters to serve as Brand Ambassadors to promote our ultra-premium rum. This role is focused on sales & marketing to introduce this new product to the public and industry.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Visit Accounts
Develop & maintain accounts in designated territory with a focus on relationship building and training.
- Suggest & execute drink features & menu placements
- Plan, schedule & coordinate events to promote the movement of the Rum
- Schedule & execute staff trainings at key accounts
- Communicate with accounts on a regular & scheduled basis, including account visits
Work With Our Distributor
- Partner with distributor salespeople to promote Island Company Rum and execute order placement
- Perform “Work Withs” with distributor salespeople
- Participate in distributor training & relationship building events upon request
Marketing & Education
- Attend spirits events, tastings and location training sessions to promote Island Company Rum® and develop ideas for future promotion
- Discover regional marketing & advertising efforts to better support your accounts and movement of Island Company Rum®
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- A passion for sales and marketing, traveling, meeting new people and interacting with them to bring positive results
- Professional, fun & energetic attitude
- Excellent work ethic, problem-solving skills, and results-oriented
- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be organized with excellent time management skills
- Must be active on social media, with a desire to promote beyond just “the job”
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Must be willing to work nights & weekends as needed
- Ability to travel
- Driver’s license and transportation required with proof of registration & insurance
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Experience in sales or marketing preferred
- Experience with the Spirits Industry preferred but not required
